Accessibility Statement

As part of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG) coming into force on June 28, 2025, this website was examined for accessibility in March 2025. It was determined that the website does not fall under the regulations of the BFSG (as of March 2025). Nevertheless, it is important to me to make my content accessible to as many people as possible. Accordingly, previously existing barriers were removed during the accessibility review.

Accessibility Implementation Status

The website currently partially meets the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. The following measures have been taken so far to enhance the accessibility of the website:

  • All image elements have descriptive alt attributes (WCAG Guideline 1.1).
  • Headings are designed to ensure a correct semantic order for screen readers or other assistive technologies (WCAG Guideline 1.3).
  • Text links are distinguished from regular text during interactions by additional visual cues (underlining) and not solely by color (WCAG Guideline 1.4.1).
  • In most cases, the contrast between elements is designed to meet the required contrast ratios between foreground and background (WCAG Guideline 1.4.3).
  • Interactive elements not only have symbols but also machine-readable text that makes the purpose of the link clear to screen readers (WCAG Guideline 2.4.4).
  • Interactive elements can be selected using the keyboard and, when selected, are visually marked by a clearly recognizable box (WCAG Guideline 2.4.7).
  • Input fields have descriptive machine-readable labels (WCAG Guideline 3.3.2).

Note: Compliance with the recommended contrast ratios (WCAG Guideline 1.4.3) is not possible in all cases, as such an adjustment would conflict with the currently chosen primary color. A corresponding adjustment will be considered in the next revision of the corporate design.
